All merchandise leaves our facility in FIRST-CLASS condition, as evidenced by the freight carrier's signed acceptance. Customer must examine the merchandise upon receipt and note any damage of the product on the bill of landing. We are not liable for loss or damage of furniture that occurs in transit. All claims for loss or damage of furniture that happens in transit must be made to the freight carrier. All claims for the defects (other than loss or damage of furniture that happens in transit) must be made in writing to the distribution center within 10 days after delivery. Failure to make a timely claim constitutes acceptance of merchandise as complete and correct.
